Most people do not want to see all of the evidence, but only select the evidence that supports their position. So I encourage people to look at all of the evidence, then follow the evidence wherever it leads you. In this regard I recommend the book The Trivium: The Liberal Arts of Logic, Grammar, and Rhetoric. Understanding the Nature and Function of Language. by Miriam Joseph. This book presents the proper way in which information should be presented in order to create a valid argument, and also lists the fallacies to an argument (2 page .pdf). In short, it can help us to better evaluate information, and to discern truth and error in what ever form that it is presented to us.

You can become aware in the 5 minutes it takes you to read the following section what it took me years to find out the hard way.The Christian religion is based on the greatest fraud ever purpetrated in the history of man: the fraud of a Jewish race. No such race has ever existed. Furthermore, the character of Jesus as portrayed in the NT did not exist. There is no historical evidence to support the existence of either. A book was written The Invention of the Jewish People by Shlomo Sand, who was the professor of history at the University of Tel Aviv, altho I had come to my conclusion before I even heard about his book.

Mythology          

Using ancient Egypt as a model, they had no religion, and in fact, there was no word for religion in their language. But they did have myth, and it was understood by all Egyptians that the characters in the myth did not literally exist. A religion is formed when mythology becomes literalized. Mythology itself is harmless, and is beneficial to us spiritually because it contains veiled truth and meaning in its allegories and symbols. The danger is if mythology is taken literally. There are no contradictions in myth, and their are no sacred texts in myth. But at this point there is a distinction between myth and Christianity in that myth is created as myth whereas Christainity was created not as myth but as literalism with the intention to deceive, mislead, and control people. Christianity is not myth, and this includes Gnostic Christianity. Gnosticism is based on the same hoax and fraud of a Jewish race and a flesh and blood Jesus. In Greek mythology, everyone knows that Zeus, Pseidon, Apollo, and Dyonisus were not literal beings, but they never were intended to be understood as being literal, and their creation had no malevolent intentions involved. This is not the case with Christianity.

The Christian threesome of Joseph, Mary, and Jesus is patterned after the Egyptian threesome of Osiris, Isis, and Horus. In this regard I recommend the book Christianity, an Ancient Egyptian Religion by Ahmed Osman. Sirius is the brightest star in the night sky. Sirius is vital in announcing the birth of the sUn which is on Dec 25th, at which time the sun is "born again" or is "resurrected from the dead" (starts moving again after 3 days and nights of no lateral movement in terms of degrees on the horizon.) In the mythology of ancient Egypt, Sirius was represented by Isis, and the constellation of Orion was represented by her brother and husband Osiris. Isis and Osiris produced Horus, the sUn of God (son of his father Osiris). The true esoteric understanding of the sun is not of Christian origin, and does not involve a flesh and blood Jesus. In ancient Egypt there was no word for religion. It was commonly understood that the mythical deities or gods represented principles. The sun and Sirius (and other stars and constellations) represent principles which are conveyed to us via mythology. In this regard I recommend the 5 part lecture series Astro Theology by Manly Hall:

Gaining a Better Perspective      

There is no God "out there" who is separate from us. If someone has not drank anything in 3 days and are on the verge of death, and we give them a jug of water, we have then given them life, and have taken on the role of "God". Looking at it in this way, we ourselves are the God (or gods), otherwise the concept of "God" is abstract. A dying man cannot survive on abstractions. Likewise, at least at one level, one level at least, nowhat we sometimes refer to as the "devil" or "satan" as being "out there", is really "in here". My theory is that, just as a blood clot forms around an impurity in our blood, so also, if there are impurities in our lives, malevolency can form around it, so in this regard, our first line of defense is to keep our hearts pure (as pure as possible). But there is also some malevolency, even evil spirits (if you want to call them that, but this is another subject) that can attack us, even to kill us (as I have experience myself) from the external and for which we have to repel. Here are a few lecture by manly Hall relating to the spiritual realm and its dangers.

One indication that we are on the right path spiritually is when we discover that our reason for wanting to do what is right is no reason at all. In other words, we are not trying to avoid "hell" or score points with "God" or earn anything, nor have any alterior or selfish motive, but simply  because we are happiest when we do it.

 

THE Principle

Live your life according to this one core principle:

If whatever action or inaction I am considering taking or not taking, or whatever attitude I have, or whatever words I choose to speak or not speak, am I responsible and mature enuff to accept any and all possible consequences of this action or inaction, whether present or future?

We only need this one principle to live our lives by. All other (relationship) principles are based on this one core principle. If everyone in the world lived by this principle there will be no violence, hatred, hurt, or damage to any people, animals, property, no pollution, and no destruction of the earth. As I was raised in a Baptist Church which tot us to "turn the other cheek" and not respond in kind to actions taken against us, I have come to disagree with this. Living by Divine Principles does not mean that we have to be door mats for other people and allow them to take advantage of us. We can defend ourselves verbally and physically. Here I completely disagree with Romans 13. I say that we shd follow Divine Principles, and let the chips fall where they may as far as civil governments are concerned.

I recommend the book Self Unfoldment by Disciplines of Realization by Manly Hall. In this book he shares a process of how we can build character and integrity in our lives.
